| Badger
Cub |
|
 |
Our
first ever Badger Cub was brought in in May 2010. Found
running around on a busy Luton Road, this cub would never
have survived on his own. Once he had recovered from his
ordeal, we asked for assistance from Wildlife Aid in Surrey
who agreed to put him into their badger cub programme. He
is now fully grown (and huge) and is being released in October
with his new family group. |

Red
Kite
|
|
 |
This
unconscious Red Kite was brought into us in November 2009
after he was found laying on the Totternhoe Knolls. We believe
that he had been blown into a tree in the gale force winds.
He made a full recovery with medication and time and was
released back to his territory. |

| Otter |
|
 |
Another
first for us! This Otter Cub was found lying on the banks
of the River Ouse in February 2009. He was hand reared and
then taken up to Scotland to be entered into an Orphan Otter
Cub release programme. Huge thanks to Les Stocker of Tiggywinkles
who drove him all the way to his new home! |

| Hobby |
|
 |
This
beautiful juvenile Hobby was picked up from a local vet
in August 2010 after it had been found sitting on the ground.
With no injuries at all the Hobby just needed feeding up.
We owe thanks to the RSPB who managed to integrate the Hobby
into a new local Hobby family so that it could follow them
on their migration. |

| Buzzard |
|
 |
This
Buzzard was brought in in 2008 after it was hit by a car.
Luckily the Buzzard had no major injuries and was just suffering
froma head trauma. Nevertheless it took 6 weeks before the
Buzzard could be returned to its territory fit and healthy. |
