FAT BALLS

You will need

  • 1/2kg lard
  • 1 jar Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 5 cups of Rice Krispies
  • 6 Cups Porridge Oats
  • 2 Cups Sunflower Seeds
  • 2 Cups Raisins

Cut the lard into pieces and soften. When it is soft enough to mix, add the other ingredients and mix well. Divide the mix into 6 portions and roll into balls. Whilst still sfot push some string through the balls using a large needle and tie off at the bottom. Put the balls in the fridge to harden up and then hang out in the garden. These are a particular favourite of the tit family.
