People often make the mistake of thinking that we are a larger organisation than we actually are, possibly because we are the only charity of our kind in Bedfordshire. In fact, the charity is all contained within the garden and former garage of founder and trustee Sam Bedford.

Our small treatment room is filled with a variety of different cages, kennels and pens and could really do with being around 10 times bigger than it actually is. In addition to our treatment room we have 6 outdoor aviaries, a duck pen and dozens of hedgehog hutches.

Hospital Room

Our Hospital Room was once our garage! New ceiling, walls and floor have had to be erected and it now contains dozens of kennels, cages, pens and incubators.

Aviaries

We have Six Aviaries altogether. Two 14' flight aviaries, Three 6' Aviaries and one small aviary for our tiny birds. We also have a large duck Pen with small Pool and Hedgehog Hutches squeezed into every available area!!!

Aviaries

These are three of our smaller Aviaries.

Duck Pen

We rear dozens and dozens of Ducklings each Year and when they are ready to get used to water, they have access to our Duck pen and small pool for practicing.
